New Technology Allows Jackson County Voters to Track Their Ballot in Real Time

JACKSON COUNTY, OREGON — A partnership between the Oregon Secretary of State and Jackson County is offering new technology to allow Oregon voters to track the delivery and receipt of their ballot in the upcoming November election, said Jackson County Clerk.

The system, called BallotTrax, allows voters to sign up online to receive alert messages via text, phone or email. Voters will receive messages when their ballot is mailed out and when it is accepted for counting.

“We are excited to offer this resource to voters in Jackson County,” said County Clerk.

“This ballot tracking technology provides one more tool for voters to stay engaged and informed during the election season,” said Secretary of State Jeanne P. Atkins. “Oregon’s unique vote by mail system gives us many opportunities to innovate and I am proud to partner with Jackson County to give voters this new resource.”

There is no charge to the voter for this service, although text message charges may apply depending on your cell phone carrier. Sign up today at www.JacksonCounty.org/MyVote to begin receiving messages on the status of your ballot. If you have any questions about this service, please call the Elections Office at (541) 774-6148 or email us at Elections@JacksonCounty.org.
