JACKSON COUNTY ROADS AND PARKS

INVITATION TO BID

CONTRACT 03.17SC

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received at the Roads and Parks Administration Office, 200 Antelope Road, White City, Oregon, until 10:30 a.m. according to the Administration Office wall clock on February 28, 2017 for:

FURNISHING HOT MIXED ASPHALT CONCRETE (HMAC)

All bids received which are in proper form will be publicly opened at the above time and place. Bids entered after the above date and time will not be accepted. At the time stated above, the County may either select the winning bid or reject all bids, but Jackson County Roads and Parks may, at its discretion, postpone any such action for a period not to exceed two weeks from the opening, during which period the bids will be irrevocable and open to public inspection. Jackson County may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements and may reject, for good cause any or all bids in its sole discretion upon finding by Jackson County that it is in the public interest to do so.

Prequalification is not a requirement for this contract.

Each bid must contain a statement as to whether bidder is a resident bidder as defined by ORS 279A.120. Copies of the contract documents are on file and may be examined in the Roads and Parks Administration Office, 200 Antelope Road, White City, Oregon after 8:00 a.m. on February 10, 2017. Documents may be obtained at the Jackson County Roads and Parks Administration office or by calling 541-774-8184.

All bids are subject to the requirements of ORS Chapters 279, 279A-C and 701, and the ordinances, rules, and regulations of Jackson County.

All other questions or issues regarding specifications, bidding process, and/or award process shall be directed in writing only to Carl Rhoten, Roads Maintenance Manager at rhotencl@jacksoncounty.org or 541-774-6234. Response will be in the form of Addendum to all document holders
