Jackson County Roads is focused on maintaining our public road system and we are out working almost every day of the year.  This work can have an impact on motorists, and therefore we want to tell you where we plan to be working.  To see a daily list of locations, just open the PDF to the left under the 'Happening Today' title.  For our larger projects there is more information offered below and on the left.  If you have questions about our short-term or long-term projects which are not answered here, please send us an email or give us a call at 541.774.8184.

Please note the information in our Daily Projects PDF is a snapshot of what we expect to accomplish each day, yet is subject to change.

Table Rock Road (Biddle to near I5) Reconstruction Project

Roadway impacts are increasing

Author: J Domis/Monday, August 14, 2017/Categories: Table Rock Road - Biddle to I5 Reconstruct

This reconstruction project is now becoming more visible to those who drive this section of Table Rock Road.  Utility relocation work is about to take priority with contractors working to adjust utilities out of the way of the upcoming road reconstruction project.

Motorists are to expect delays in the project area and are encouraged to take alternate routes if possible to minimize adverse impacts.  With various alternative travel options for through-traffic, the hope is many motorists will 'switch' to another travel route during this project.

Additionally, prior to Costco opening, contractors will add a left turn lane and a receiving lane at the Hamrick Road/Table Rock Road intersection.  This will allow safer left turn movements from Table Rock Road onto Hamrick as well as act as a receiving lane for Hamrick Road traffic turning left onto northbound Table Rock Road.  Two other entrances/exits along Table Rock Road will be constructed by Costco, however these access points will be right-in/right-out only with no left turn movements allowed.

Please be aware of work zones and construction activity in the area and reduce vehicle speed to help avoid accidents.
