Suspect Arrested in Burglary
On Tuesday, October 28, 2014, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man on burglary charges. Jarrod Garwood, 32, of Rogue River, was arrested after a search warrant was served at his residence in the 5,000 block of East Evans Creek Road. During the search, numerous stolen items were located, as well as drugs and several firearms. Garwood is suspected of burglarizing a home in the 9,000 block of West Evans Creek Road, in Rogue River.
Garwood was arrested and lodged at the Jackson County Jail. He is charged with Burglary I, Burglary II, Theft II, Theft III, and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
The investigation into the burglary is ongoing.
