Crime Stoppers: Deputies Seek ATV Thief

GOLD HILL, Ore. – Jackson County Sheriff’s Office deputies are hoping a tip will lead them to property stolen in a burglary near Gold Hill.  Among the items stolen were two four-wheel ATV's.

On August 31, 2018, a resident in the 4800-block of North River Road reported a burglary.  Sometime in the previous four days, the suspect (or suspects) forced entry into outbuildings and travel trailers on the property.

Two quads – a white 2006 Yamaha Wolverine 450, and a red 2001 Polaris Scrambler 400 – were stolen, along with a quad trailer.  Other items stolen include a generator, a Stihl chainsaw, and miscellaneous tools.

Anyone with information about the burglary, or the current location of the stolen property, is asked to contact the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office at 541-776-7206.  Refer to case #18-18293.

Tipsters can also call or text Crime Stoppers of Southern Oregon at 1-800-850-0580 and refer to case number KTVL 09-04-18.

Depending on the case and the information is given, Crime Stoppers will pay a reward up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and filing of charges. Callers can remain anonymous. The reward is sponsored by Rogue Credit Union.
