Dave Dotterrer was elected to the Jackson County Board of Commissioners in November 2020 and sworn into office on January 4, 2021. Commissioner Dotterrer serves as Vice-Chair of the Board for 2021.
For the 2021 calendar year, Commissioner Dotterrer is the Board liaison to the following County departments and/or committees: Airport (Airport Advisory Committee), Community Justice (Local Public Safety Coordinating Council), District Attorney, Justice Court, Roads and Parks (County Roads Advisory Committee, Jackson County Bicycle Committee, Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee, and Traffic Safety Advisory Board), Sheriff, and Surveyor.
Commissioner Dotterrer is also the Board liaison to the City Councils of Ashland, Central Point, Phoenix, and Talent. In addition, he serves as the Board liaison to the Association of Oregon Counties/AOC (Public Safety Steering Committee), Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, Mid Rogue Metropolitan Planning Organization/MRMPO, National Association of Counties/NACo, Natural Resource Conservation Service, NOAA Fisheries Services, Regional Solutions Advisory Committee (Governor's), Rogue Valley Area Commission on Transportation/RVACT, Rogue Valley Metropolitan Planning Organization/RVMPO, Rogue Workforce Partnership, Southern Oregon Regional Economic Development, Inc./SOREDI, Transportation Advocacy Committee/TRADCO, and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
