Nominations for the 2023 Jackson County Community Service Awards are now open. A Community Service Award is presented monthly to local organizations or individuals who have displayed exceptional volunteer service to the community of Jackson County. Selection criteria is based on the individual's or organization's volunteer service performed, length of service, and easing of or solving a community problem. Consideration will also be given to people who volunteer hours beyond their regular work day to perform a service that benefits the community.
