Jackson County has franchise agreements to provide solid waste services within the County. Only these organizations are authorized to pick up, haul, and dispose of solid waste within the County. Any individual or organization offering to haul your waste away for a fee, that is not included on this list, may be operating in violation of Jackson County Ordinances. Any person or company that uses an unfranchised service can be held financially responsible for the cleanup of illegally dumped waste.

Dry Creek Landfill
Dry Creek Landfill is a regional facility that only accepts household wastes from authorized transfer stations. Jackson County citizens that need to dispose of household waste should use one of the transfer stations shown above.

Asbestos Information
By appointment only, Dry Creek Landfill, Inc. accepts materials containing asbestos on Wednesdays from 7:30 am until 11:00 am. All loads must first be inspected by a licensed abatement contractor prior to delivery to the Landfill. To schedule an asbestos disposal appointment call 541-826-4949.
