NOTICE OF JACKSON COUNTY BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETINGS
A public meeting of the Budget Committee of Jackson County, State of Oregon, on the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2017, through June 30, 2018, will be held in the Jackson County Courthouse Auditorium, 10 South Oakdale, Medford, Oregon. The meeting will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, April 10, 2017. The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message. This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee may take place.
After presentation of the budget document on April 10, 2017, a copy may be inspected or obtained at the County Administrator’s Office, 10 South Oakdale, Room 214, Medford, Oregon, during regular business hours. The budget document may also be viewed on the County’s web page (http://jacksoncountyor.org) after April 10, 2017.
Additional Budget Committee meetings will be held in the Jackson County Courthouse Auditorium, 10 South Oakdale, Medford, Oregon, on Monday, April 17, 2017, beginning at 8:30 a.m., and on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, beginning at 9:00 a.m. The purpose of these meetings is to review department budgets. These are public hearings where any person may appear, ask questions about, and comment on the budget. If necessary, the Budget Committee may continue deliberations to Wednesday, April 19, 2017, in the Courthouse Auditorium. Public testimony will not be heard during deliberations.
An Elected Officials’ Salary Committee meeting will be held in the County Administrator’s Office, 10 South Oakdale, Room 214, on Monday, April 17, 2017, at 12:00 noon. This is a public meeting; however, public testimony on this topic will be taken at the Budget Committee meeting of April 18, 2017, following presentation of the Salary Committee’s report to the Budget Committee.
