At their Regular Wednesday Meeting on February 17, 2016, the Jackson County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved Order No. 21-16 proclaiming opposition to the expansion of background checks for the purchase of firearms. 

At the Jackson County Board of Commissioners' Work Session on February 23, 2016, Order No. 30-16 was approved proclaiming opposition to Senate Bill 1532 which increases the State of Oregon's minimum wage.

Beginning February 18, 2016, audio recordings of the Commissioners' Tuesday Work Sessions and Thursday Staff Meetings are available online to download.
