On Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at 1:30 pm, the Jackson County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing regarding adoption of Ordinance No. 2020-1 relating to text amendments to the Jackson County Land Development Ordinance (LDO), Chapters 8, 9, 10 and 12, related to development within the White City Urban Unincorporated Community Boundary and Urban Growth Boundaries. The Board of Commissioners has determined that adoption of this ordinance may affect the permissible uses of your property, and other properties, and may change the value of your property.
Ordinance No. 2020-1 which, if adopted, substantively amends the text of the Jackson County Land Development Ordinance, Chapters 8, 9, 10 and 12, relating to criteria for division and landscaping standards for panhandle or flag lots within the White City Urban Unincorporated Community Boundary (UUCB) and Urban Growth Boundaries; and separation between street intersections and driveways, private road standards, minimum street widths, fencing standards, street frontage landscaping in General Industrial zones, and process for reviewing alternative street tree species within the White City UUCB.
