NOTICE OF JACKSON COUNTY BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETINGS

A public meeting of the Budget Committee of Jackson County, State of Oregon, on the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2019, through June 30, 2020, will be held in the Jackson County Courthouse Auditorium, 10 South Oakdale, Medford, Oregon.  The meeting will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9, 2019.   The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message.  This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee may take place.

After presentation of the budget document on April 9, 2019, a copy may be inspected or obtained at the County Administrator’s Office, 10 South Oakdale, Room 214, Medford, Oregon, during regular business hours.  The budget document may also be viewed on the County’s web page (https://jacksoncountyor.org) after April 9, 2019.

Additional Budget Committee meetings will be held in the Jackson County Courthouse Auditorium, 10 South Oakdale, Medford, Oregon, on Tuesday, April 16, 2019, beginning at 8:30 a.m., and on Thursday, April 18, 2019, beginning at 9:00 a.m.  The purpose of these meetings is to review department budgets.  These are public meetings where any person may appear, ask questions about, and comment on the budget.  If necessary, the Budget Committee may continue deliberations to Friday, April 19, 2019, in the Courthouse Auditorium.  Public testimony will not be heard during deliberations.

An Elected Officials’ Salary Committee meeting will be held in the County Administrator’s Office, 10 South Oakdale, Room 214, on Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at 12:00 noon.  This is a public meeting; however, public testimony on this topic will be taken at the Budget Committee meeting of April 18, 2019, following presentation of the Salary Committee’s report to the Budget Committee.
