Jackson County Budget Committee Meeting

Due to COVID-19, the Jackson County Budget Committee will hold their meetings by videoconference.  For additional details about the meetings(s), please see the meeting agenda that, when available, can be downloaded below.

NOTICE OF JACKSON COUNTY BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETINGS

A public meeting of the Budget Committee of Jackson County, State of Oregon, on the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2022, will be held by videoconference*.  The meeting will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 6, 2021.   The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message.  This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee may take place. 

After presentation of the budget document on April 6, 2021, a copy may be inspected or obtained at the County Administrator’s Office, 10 South Oakdale, Room 214, Medford, Oregon, during regular business hours.  The budget document may also be viewed on the County’s web page (http://jacksoncountyor.org) after April 6, 2021.  

Additional Budget Committee meetings will be held by videoconference* on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, beginning at 8:30 a.m., and on Thursday, April 15, 2021, beginning at 9:00 a.m.  The purpose of these meetings is to review department budgets.  These are public meetings where any person may appear, ask questions about, and comment on the budget.  If necessary, the Budget Committee may continue deliberations to Friday, April 16, 2021.  Public testimony will not be heard during deliberations.  

An Elected Officials’ Salary Committee meeting will be held by videoconference** on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at 12:00 noon.  This is a public meeting; however, public testimony on this topic will be taken during the Budget Committee meeting of April 15, 2021, following presentation of the Salary Committee’s report to the Budget Committee.
