The Jackson County Board of Commissioners is seeking qualified persons who are interested in serving on the newly formed Marijuana Advisory Committee. The purpose of this Advisory Committee is to provide recommendations to the Board of Commissioners on issues related to marijuana, including issues presented by the production, processing, wholesaling, and distribution of marijuana in the unincorporated area of the County.
To complete membership of the Advisory Committee, the Board is seeking applicants for two “general public” positions. The Advisory Committee also has positions identified for people who have an interest in or are more likely to be impacted by the marijuana industry. If you are applying for these “general public” positions, and you are involved in the marijuana industry or are involved in non-marijuana agriculture, or are a rural property owner, please disclose this in your application.
Submit a completed application to the Board of Commissioners’ Office no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 19, 2018. Applications can be found, and submitted, on the Commissions, Committees & Boards page. You may also download an application from this site or request one from the Board of Commissioners’ Office by calling 541-774-6116; a completed application may then be submitted in person or mailed to 10 South Oakdale, Room 214, Medford, Oregon 97501.
