COVID-19 Weekly Updates - June 30 2021

Jackson County Public Health is still providing the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccinations. Operations are at 140 South Holly Street in Medford, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, and closed during the lunch hour from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Services will be closed on Monday, July 5, in observation of the 4th of July.

Anyone can access the vaccine at Jackson County Public Health; the vaccine is free; insurance information and identification are not required, and Spanish interpreters are available. Appointments are not required but can be made by calling 541-774-8209.

Those who need their second dose of the Moderna vaccine and received their first dose at the Expo will now go to Jackson County Public Health, located at 140 South Holly Street in Medford. They can also access the vaccine from other providers in the community. Daily COVID-19 Cases

As of 12:01 a.m. on June 30, 2021, Jackson County Public Health reports 16 new COVID-19 cases. This brings the total COVID-19 cases in Jackson County to 11,641.

COVID-19 Related Deaths

Jackson County Public Health reports 1 new COVID-19 death, bringing the total to 148 since the beginning of the pandemic.

Jackson County’s 148th COVID-19 death is an 88-year-old man who tested positive on June 26 and died on June 29 at Providence Medford Medical Center. They had underlying health conditions.
