Get real world experience that future employers are looking for – get the chance to be hired permanently at the Juvenile Department, Sheriff’s Department, or Adult Parole & Probation office.

Get a head start on putting into practice what you’ve learned in college – utilize your knowledge of criminal justice & criminal behavior, attend court cases, and teach life skills.

Make a difference in people’s lives – provide help to youth dealing with emotional and physical problems, help defuse crisis situations, and assist with guidance and suicide prevention.

Work flexible part time hours and get paid above minimum wage – 20 hours per week, night, day and swing shifts available, and wages start at $14/hr (Oregon minimum wage is $11.25).

No professional qualifications needed – just a high school diploma/GED and first aid & CPR certification (which you can get within 30 days of starting employment).
