MFR Closures for Maintenance

Summer/Fall 2022

MEDFORD, August 10, 2022 – Rogue Valley International-Medford Airport will close its only runway for maintenance and improvement in accordance with the below schedule. During these runway closures, the asphalt runway will be seal coated, the runway lighting converted to LED, and the electrical cabling replaced. Not only will this important project extend the life of the runway pavement, but it also will reduce energy consumption and costs.

2. Nightly Runway Closures
   1. 8/29/22 – 9/12/22, 12:00 AM – 5:00 AM, Monday – Friday
   2. 9/15/22 – 10/7/22, 12:00 AM – 5:00 AM, Monday – Friday
