In response to the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak, Jackson County (among other Oregon Counties) may have limited public access to its offices at some point in the future. If you have real property related documents that need to be recorded, you may consider e-Recording as an option.
eRecording provides the ability to record documents with the Jackson County Clerk via one of four approved eRecording service providers. Utilizing an account with one of these service providers, customers can simply scan the original document and attach the electronic image and appropriate fees. The electronic instrument is transmitted by a secure connection to the County Clerk’s office for processing. Documents are typically recorded the same business day if all required elements are present in the instrument.
Jackson County was the first in Oregon to offer eRecording services and now more than ever provides essential protections to the people we serve. We encourage you to consider the importance of this vital service offered through our eRecording partners.
