March LPSCC Meeting

At this month’s Local Public Safety Coordinating Council Meeting, we learned about three organizations in Jackson County that provide support and care to vulnerable victims of various crimes.

March LPSCC Meeting: Children’s Advocacy Center

Children are some of the most vulnerable people in our population, and without people reaching out to them to provide help, their suffering can go unnoticed and unaddressed. But for kids in Jackson County who are victims of abuse or who have witnessed violent crimes, the Children’s Advocacy Center is there to help with wraparound services to provide safety, healing, and compassion. Executive Director Tammi Pitzen gave an overview at this month’s meeting.
