Wildfire Safety Ordinance Amendments

Amendment to Private Roads, Emergency Vehicle Access, and Wildfire Hazard Standards

On December 15, 2010, the Jackson County Board of Commissioners approved amendments to Land Development Ordinance Sections 3.10.1, 3.10.2, 8.7.1, 8.7.2, 8.7.3, 8.7.4, 8.7.5, 9.5.1, 9.5.3, 9.5.4, 9.5.5, 10.2.1, 10.4.3, 10.4.4, 13.3, and Section 4 of the User’s Guide Regarding Wildfire Safety, Emergency Vehicle Access, and Private Roads through Ordinance No. 2010-9. The ordinance also amends the Jackson County Zoning Overlay Map relating to Hazardous Wildfire Areas. File No. LRP2004-00014B. The amendments became effective on 2/13/11.
