JACKSON & JOSEPHINE COUNTIES, Ore. – Recent fall-like weather and widespread rain has made it possible to ease off on some public fire prevention regulations on lands protected by the Oregon Department of Forestry Southwest Oregon District. Effective Sunday, October 23, 2022 at 12:01 a.m., the public fire danger level will decrease to “low” (green) on ODF-protected lands in Jackson and Josephine counties. The Industrial Fire Precaution Level (IFPL) will remain at I (one).
