Jackson County Animal Shelter hosts a vaccination clinic the 3rd Saturday of each month by appointment only to help pet owners comply with regulations and animal health needs. Space is limited. Cost is $10 for a rabies vaccination and $15 for the distemper vaccinations.

For dogs: Distemper-Parvo combo vaccine (DA2PP)
For cats: Distemper-Respiratory combo vaccine (FVRCCP)

Limited Drive Thru Rabies Vaccine & License Clinic By Appointment Only

MUST call the Shelter by Friday, December 17th to make an appointment

This is a special "Drive Thru" Vaccine and License Clinic. In addition to Jackson County pet owners whose dog’s require both a rabies vaccine and license, this month puppies, cats, or kittens will also be scheduled/vaccinated as limited scheduling permits.

Pet owners MUST schedule an appointment online or call the Shelter at 541-774-6654 BEFORE December 17th to schedule an appointment. so the staff can space out the number of people coming in over the course of three hours. Please wear a mask and please be on-time. Pets whom are ill, on antibiotics, in heat, or on cortisone products cannot be vaccinated. The animal shelter is located at 5595 So. Pacific Hwy (99) in Phoenix near Talent.

Vaccines and Licensing Costs/Payment

Vaccinations available for dogs (CASH ONLY as this fee goes to the veterinarian) are: Rabies ($10 cash for each vaccine) and Distemper/Parvo booster ($15 cash for each vaccine ). Vaccinations available for Cats (CASH ONLY): Rabies and Distemper/Rhino/Calici booster. All dogs six months of age and older are required by law to be vaccinated for rabies and licensed. No nail trimming will be done.

Dog license fees (Check or Credit/Debit Card, or Cash), vary based on the dog’s neuter/spay status, and there is also a discount for veterans and seniors 62 years and older. When calling for your appointment, ask the staff about the fee for your dog(s).
