All Oregonians aged 12 and over are NOW eligible to sign up for the FREE COVID-19 vaccine.
All COVID-19 Vaccine Providers listed below are following the state's eligibility criteria. Preparing for your COVID-19 Vaccine Appointment.
The number of doses needed depends on which vaccine you receive. To get the most protection:
If you receive a vaccine that requires two doses, you should get your second shot as close to the recommended interval as possible. However, your second dose may be given up to 6 weeks (42 days) after the first dose, if necessary. You should not get the second dose earlier than the recommended interval.
At this time, CDC or FDA have stated that fully vaccinated people do not need a booster shot at this time. FDA, CDC and NIH are engaged in science-based, rigorous process to consider whether or when a booster might be necessary and are prepared if the science demonstrates the need. The current COVID-19 vaccines are not approved by the FDA or under the Emergency Use Authorization to be provided as a booster.
