CAMPFIRES PROHIBITED at ALL Jackson County Parks starting midnight tonight, July 19, 2018. Due to recent fires, high temperatures, and dry conditions, the Oregon Department of Forestry has raised fire danger level to EXTREME. Due to this new notification, we have banned campfires at ALL of our Jackson County Parks, including campgrounds at Emigrant Lake, around Howard Prairie Lake, Willow Lake, Rogue Elk, Southern Oregon RV, and Cantrall Buckley parks. With fire crews stretched to their limit and the current EXTREME FIRE DANGER LEVEL, we have decided to ban campfires at all Jackson County Parks, until further notice. We will update our website if there are any changes. Thank you for your cooperation during these extreme conditions.
