The Cantrall Buckley Campground will CLOSE for the season on October 9th.
The beautiful Applegate River is the focal point of Cantrall Buckley Park, which spans over 88 acres, and features 1.75 miles of river frontage, making it a very popular recreational destination in Jackson County. The large native trees and ample lawn make this an ideal site for family gatherings or group picnics. Group Picnic areas are well-appointed and available for a variety of social events and group gatherings.
Group Picnic Area A offers tables, barbecues, electricity and a covered shelter. Area is available from 10 am to sunset. Group Picnic Area A can be reserved and Group Picnic Areas B, C, & D, are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations for Area A are not required, but are recommended, and must be made by phone through the Parks Office.
Nestled within native laurel and pine trees, above the beautiful Applegate River, our 30-site Campground provides an ideal camping location while attending the Britt Festivals in nearby Jacksonville. All sites include a campfire ring and picnic table and restroom/shower building
Need more space? Be sure to utilize the Group Campground. Reservations are required for the Group Campground and made through the Parks Office.
