Campfires Now Allowed at ALL Jackson County Parks

Fire Danger Level Lowered from EXTREME to HIGH

Campfires Now Allowed at ALL Jackson County Parks

Due to the Oregon Department of Forestry changing the fire danger level from EXTREME to HIGH, we are NOW ALLOWING campfires at ALL of our Jackson County Parks that are currently open, including campgrounds at Emigrant Lake, Howard Prairie Lake Resort, Willow Lake, Rogue Elk, Southern Oregon RV, and Cantrall Buckley parks.  We are asking that campers still use caution when building and maintaining their campfires.  Keep the campfire low (below the knees), under control, always attended, and always completely put out when you are done with the campfire.  We will update our website if there are any changes.  Thank you for your cooperation during these high fire danger conditions.
