NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received by Adam Trautman, Project Manager, Jackson County Facility Maintenance at Jackson County Courthouse, 10 S. Oakdale Suite 208, Medford, Oregon 97501, until 2:00 p.m. local time the 9th Day of January 2020. Information is available on the Jackson County website at www.jacksoncountyor.org/projects.
JACKSON COUNTY JUSTICE BUILDING THIRD FLOOR RENOVATION
Located at: 100 SOUTH OAKDALE, MEDFORD, OR 97501
Jackson County seeks proposals for the interior remodel of approximately 4,400 square feet of the third floor of the Jackson County Justice Building, 100 S. Oakdale Avenue, while the remainder of the building remains operational. The project includes, but is not limited to, remodeling and renovation of existing space to provide an additional courtroom, judge’s chambers, office(s), restroom, holding cells, electrical, lighting, casework, mechanical, design coordination, and other modifications to allow for an additional judge beginning in July of 2020. Project must be complete on or before June 30th 2020. Contractor will be responsible for design-build of Fire Alarm System and Fire Sprinkler System revisions required to comply with the renovations and code requirements. Refer to Section 014000 of the Request for Proposals (RFP) for the requirements of the Contractor's Design-Related Professional Services. See RFP specifications and drawings for further details.

All proposals received which are in proper form will be publicly opened at the above time and place. Proposals entered after the above date and time will not be accepted. The Agency may, at its discretion, postpone any such action following the opening, for the period expressed in the RFP, during which period the proposals will be irrevocable and open to public inspection. The Agency may reject for good cause any or all proposals, or may waive any informalities in proposals, all in its sole discretion, upon a finding by the Agency that it is the public interest to do so.
Instruction to Proposers and all other contract documents may be inspected at the Agency Office, or at the Medford Builders Exchange located at 701 East Jackson, Medford. Proposal Packets containing all such Instruction and other contract documents may be purchased at local Builder’s Exchange, location and hours vary.
To be eligible for consideration, all proposers must register on the Jackson County website, www.jacksoncountyor.org/projects, select the Projects tab for further instructions.
A copy of the proposal specifications and documents are on file and may be obtained at local Builder’s Exchange.
All proposals are subject to the applicable requirements of ORS Chapters 279, 279A, 279B, 279C and 701, and the regulations of the Jackson County Facility Maintenance.
This is a public works subject to ORS Chapters 279C.800 to 279C.870.
