Notice is hereby given that Jackson County Oregon, is soliciting proposals for the next three year (2024-2026) Jackson County Fair Carnival.  Proposals will be accepted by the Jackson County Fairgrounds and Exposition Park until 5:00pm PDT on March 31, 2023 at the fairgrounds office at 1 Peninger Rd. Central Point, OR  97502.  See attachment 2024-2026 Jackson County Carnival RFP.

Proposals will be opened immediately thereafter.  Notwithstanding Oregon Revised Statutes, (ORS) chapters 192.410-192.505.  Proposals may be opened in a manner to avoid disclosure of contents to competing proposers during, when applicable, the process of negotiation in accordance with Jackson County Local Contract Review Board (LCRB) Rules.  Proposals received after the stated date and time will not be considered.

No proposal will be accepted by Jackson County (County) unless it contains a statement by the proposer, as a part of the Proposal, that the proposer, if awarded the contract, will comply with all applicable laws while carrying out the contract.

County may reject any Proposal not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may not for good cause cancel the procurement, reject any or all Proposal or waive any specification or requirement upon finding of County is is in the puslic interes to do so.
