INVITATION TO BID
CONTRACT NO. 01.18SC
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received at the Roads Administration Office, 200 Antelope Road, White City, Oregon, 97503, until 10:30 a.m. according to the Administration Office wall clock on February 27, 2018 for:
AGGREGATE SUPPLY CONTRACT
SCOPE: The work under this contract consists of supplying and/or stockpiling aggregate of various types for Jackson County and delivery of aggregate of various types for both Jackson County and the Oregon Department of Transportation.
All bids received which are in proper form will be publicly opened at the above time and place. Bids entered after the above date and time will not be accepted. At the time stated above, the County may either select the winning bid or reject all bids, but Jackson County Roads may, at its discretion, postpone any such action for a period not to exceed two (2) weeks from the opening, during which period the bids will be irrevocable and open to public inspection. Jackson County may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all bids, in its sole discretion, upon a finding by Jackson County, that it is in the public interest to do so.
Pre-qualification is not a requirement for this Contract.
Each bid must contain a statement as to whether bidder is a resident bidder as defined by ORS 279A.120.
All bids are subject to the requirements of ORS Chapters 279, 279A-C and 701, and the ordinances, rules, and regulations of Jackson County.
Copies of the Contract documents are on file and may be examined in the Roads Administration Office after 8:00 a.m. February 9, 2018. To obtain a set of contract documents, call 541-774-8184.
