As part of some pavement work in White City, twenty-five sidewalk ramps at intersections and other crossing locations will be upgraded to current standards for dimensions, slope and other related features.
Work will begin soon and will be complete by mid-August 2017. Impacts to motorists will be minimal since work is limited to the sidewalk areas along the affected roadways, however motorists are asked to use caution around work areas as pedestrians and other users may be taking alternate routes due to temporary closures.
Pedestrian and other sidewalk users should be aware of construction areas and avoid hazards which may not be normally present. Things to look for include:
Please obey all traffic control signs and flaggers. Residents are asked to leave adequate room around construction areas when parking vehicles along the roadway.
