A portion of Hillcrest Road between Foothill Road and Bel Air Court will be closed to thru-traffic on June 20-21, 2018 to accomplish asphalt paving work.  During this closure traffic will be diverted around the work area using other streets.  Motorists are asked to slow down and obey all traffic control devices and flaggers.

DURATION - The paving process itself with the detour in place should take no more than two days to complete.  During these two days, Hillcrest Road between Foothill Road and Bel Air Court will be closed to thru-traffic.  Local traffic will be allowed access through the work area to access homes and businesses.

TIMING – Final paving work will begin on June 20 and will extend into the 21st as needed to complete the job.

IMPACT - As this area will be closed to thru-traffic, please plan additional travel time to use the detour route.  Watch for traffic control devices and flaggers.  If you live/work within the closure area we ask you to minimize the number of trips during these two days if possible, expect short delays, and plan your commute and other trips accordingly.  Emergency vehicle access will still be allowed to all properties if needed.

Once the paving work is completed the closure/detour will be removed, however crews will later need to install pavement markings and replace advanced signal loops which will require minimal delays and partial lane closures.  If you have any questions about this project please contact us.
