Jackson County Roads is focused on maintaining our public road system and we are out working almost every day of the year.  This work can have an impact on motorists, and therefore we want to tell you where we plan to be working.  To see a daily list of locations, just open the PDF to the left under the 'Happening Today' title.  For our larger projects there is more information offered below and on the left.  If you have questions about our short-term or long-term projects which are not answered here, please send us an email or give us a call at 541.774.8184.

Please note the information in our Daily Projects PDF is a snapshot of what we expect to accomplish each day, yet is subject to change.

Duggan Road Culvert Replacement Project - ROADWAY NOW OPEN

Duggan Road Culvert Replacement Project - ROADWAY NOW OPEN

Author: Roads/Friday, September 19, 2014/Categories: Duggan Road Culvert Replacement

NOTE: Work was completed and this closure was removed as of 3:30 PM on 9/25/14.

Jackson County maintenance crews will be replacing a deep drainage culvert which has met its useful life on Duggan Road in the Sams Valley area.  Due to the depth of the excavation which must occur, the full roadway will need to be closed to through traffic until work is completed later in the week.

The closure will have a impact on local residents who use this short section of roadway between Highway 234 and Old Sams Valley Road.  All residential traffic will want to use the Hwy 234 connection to access their properties since the culvert replacement is occurring very near the Old Sams Valley Road end of the segment with no other driveways past that point.

Day time work will begin at approximately 7AM on Monday (9/22) and is expected to be complete by Friday (9/26).  Please note: This closure will be in effect during night hours as well.  Emergency Service dispatchers have been notified of the full closure so any emergency response can be routed efficiently.

Please contact us at 541-774-8184 or use our contact form if you have any questions.
