Signal Installation - Table Rock Road @ Gregory Road

Signal Installation - Table Rock Road @ Gregory Road

Author: Roads/Thursday, November 29, 2018/Categories: Table Rock Road - Signal Installation at Gregory

Several years ago East Gregory Road was realigned to match West Gregory Road to improve safety at the intersection with Table Rock Road.  Now, a traffic signal will be installed which will be a significant safety improvement for Gregory Road traffic, especially for left-turn movements.  In the end, all four legs of this intersection will have protected left-turn movements controlled by a signal.

Our contractor will soon begin work to make improvements to the alignments where West Gregory Road approaches.  Some vacant right-of-way on the north side of the road will be used to expand the roadway to allow room for a dedicated left-turn lane on this roadway approach.  The majority of the work will be the installation of the new signal poles, masts and electrical wiring.

Delays should be minimal, but please be sure to slow down and watch for flaggers and other workers in the area.

Project completion is expected during the summer of 2019.
