Jackson County Roads is focused on maintaining our public road system and we are out working almost every day of the year.  This work can have an impact on motorists, and therefore we want to tell you where we plan to be working.  To see a daily list of locations, just open the PDF to the left under the 'Happening Today' title.  For our larger projects there is more information offered below and on the left.  If you have questions about our short-term or long-term projects which are not answered here, please send us an email or give us a call at 541.774.8184.

Please note the information in our Daily Projects PDF is a snapshot of what we expect to accomplish each day, yet is subject to change.

Table Rock Road Project Update - September 26, 2014

Table Rock Road Project Update - September 26, 2014

Author: Roads/Friday, September 26, 2014/Categories: Table Rock Road – Wilson to Elmhurst

With top-lift final paving complete on the primary roadway our contactor, Knife River Materials, is now turning their attention to some of the final parts of this important project.

Many motorists have already seen the new signal poles installed at the intersection with Wilson Road.  Striping will need to occur prior to the signal being activated sometime in October.  Bridge work is finishing up too with guardrail being placed.

The paving of side-street intersections and some final driveway approach paving is still to occur.  Delays should be minimal with this type of localized work.  Drivers should also be aware the 35 MPH speed zone is still in place throughout the length of this project.  It will be removed after the project is fully complete.

Many pedestrians and cyclists are already beginning to use the non-motorized path along much of the west side of this project.  This is a great improvement for bike/ped access along this section of roadway.  Please be watchful for crews working in various areas along the pathway until it is complete.

If you have questions about the project please contact our office at 541.774.8184.
