Work will begin soon by our contractor, Knife River, to replace damaged asphalt in this industrial area near Sage Road and Highway 99 in Medford. Preliminary work is planned to begin August 24, 2020, with work scheduled to be complete around the end of September 2020.
During construction, crews will be performing various work such as lowering manholes and water valves, working on curbs and ramps, performing asphalt digouts and grinding, as well as giving the roads a fresh asphalt overlay and new striping to finish things off. Motorists in the area should slow down, obey all traffic control devices and flaggers, and watch for pedestrians who may be parking in alternate areas during different phases of the project.
Roads impacted most will be the county-maintained portions of Ehrman Way on both sides of Sage Road, Joseph Street from Ehrman to Mason, and Mason Way on both sides of Sage Road as well as Charles Way. The portions of Ehrman and Mason west of Joseph Street are private roads and are therefore not part of this project.
Please use alternate routes if possible and 'Give 'Em a Brake'.
