North River Road - Multi-use Path Construction Begins

Motorists and other roadway users are asked to use caution as work begins this week along North River Road between Valley of the Rogue State Park (Twin Bridges Road) and Del Rio Vineyards (40 North River Road).  Workers and equipment from CPI based in Murphy OR will set up work zone signing and will begin by clearing areas where the new path will be constructed.  The completion of this section of multi-use trail will provide a continuous connection between Rogue River and Gold Hill.

The project will finish this fall/early winter, however between now and then there is a lot of work to accomplish, much of which will have an impact on motorists and other roadway users in this area.  If possible, please find alternate routes to use during construction to avoid the work areas altogether.  As with most projects, lighter traffic will allow work to be accomplished more quickly, efficiently and safely.

Road users should expect delays and are asked to slow down in the work zone for added safety.  Stay alert, "Respect the Zone" and "Give 'Em a Brake".
