North River Road - Multi-use Path Construction Update 8/9/2019

Motorists and other roadway users are asked to use caution as work continues along North River Road between Valley of the Rogue State Park (Twin Bridges Road) and Del Rio Vineyards (40 North River Road).  Our contractor, CPI of Merlin, is currently installing culverts and establishing pathway base areas which will be brought to grade and eventually paved.

At the same time, related work is being done by a second contractor handling the specific work around the railroad crossing.  This work will require a temporary closure at the railroad crossing.  Local traffic will be allowed access, but through traffic will be detoured at Highway 99/234 near Del Rio Vineyards on one end and Twin Bridges Road near Valley of the Rogue State Park/Rest Area on the other end.  The closure will occur beginning at 7PM on Friday (8/9) and will extend through approximately 8AM on Tuesday (8/13).

Road users should expect delays and are asked to slow down in the work zone for added safety.  Stay alert, "Respect the Zone" and "Give 'Em a Brake".
