North River Road - Multi-use Path Ribbon Cutting on Oct 26

Work will soon be completed on this new section of mulit-use trail which is connecting Valley of the Rogue State Park to near the Rock Point Bridge area.

A ribbon cutting ceremony and opportunities to walk/ride the new pathway are planned for Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 12:00 noon.  Please see the PDF document below for more information about the ceremony.

Parking is recommended at the Valley of the Rogue Rest/Day Use Area - attendees can enjoy a short walk/bike ride to the ceremony location.  Please do not park along North River Road or the adjacent I-5 on/off ramps, etc.

Motorists in the area, especially on 10/26/19 are asked to slow down and use caution as there will be a lot of activity in the area.

If you have questions about this project please contact us.

Jackson County Roads is focused on maintaining our public road right-of-ways. To that end, we and our contractors are out in force most every day performing maintenance and construction work. The graphic above links to our projects page where you can access information about what we are accomplishing, including a list of what we plan to work on each day. See the Happening Today! - Daily Projects PDF to get information to help you plan your travel routes.
