Public Hearing - Portions of Clay Street and Paradise Lane (Ashland) Jurisdictional Transfer

The Jackson County Board of Commissioners will host a public hearing regarding the proposed jurisdictional transfer of the following roads to the City of Ashland:

  • Clay Street - middle section (Siskiyou Blvd. to 300; north of Takelma Way)
  • Clay Street - upper section (1450' south of OR Hwy 99 to 2190' south of OR Hwy 99
  • Paradise Lane (Peachy Lane to 555' south)

The public hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at 9:30 AM by videoconference.  Please check the Board of Commissioner calendar and eventual published agenda for more detailed information.

If you are unable to attend the videoconference meeting you are encouraged to submit comments in writing, either by mail to 10 S. Oakdale, Room 214, Medford OR 97501, or by email to BoC‑; written comments must be received by 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, to be accepted into the meeting record.  All written correspondence must include the author’s name and address.  Live audio comment via videoconference may also be received during the public hearing portion of the meeting. Following the public hearing, the Commissioners will consider whether or not to transfer jurisdiction of portions of Clay Street and Paradise Lane as proposed.
