Jackson County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue (SAR) coordinates the highly successful “Lost But Found" children's education program. Every year, SAR volunteers teach thousands of children about safety. Participants receive the most current information regarding survival skills if they should become lost or separated from family or friends.
Volunteers present the program quarterly at the Santo Community Center provided to by Medford Parks and Recreation. This enables SAR to offer the program on a seasonal basis to community organizations, individuals, and families.
Presentations are ongoing, offered to all Jackson County schools, both public and private, community organizations, and other groups. Call SAR at (541) 864-8830 to schedule a presentation.
