Are You Protected Against Identity Theft, Fraud, or Scams??

April's Community Forum Could Protect You or a Loved One

Sheriff’s Office Offers Education Classes

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is proud to announce an informational series for the public.  One night each month the Sheriff’s Office will host an educational class dealing with law enforcement issues surrounding our county.  The first class, “Color Wars: An Inside Look at Gangs in Southern Oregon,” was a huge success.  This month the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is teaming together with other agencies to present “Keeping Personal Information, PERSONAL”.  This public forum will take place Tuesday, April 29, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Smullin Center in Medford.

Identity theft, fraud, and scams are becoming all to common these days.  The digital world has made it even easier for these criminals to access your personal information and use it to their benefit. How protected are YOU?  Are you making yourself vulnerable?  Join the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office for our community presentation.

The classes are free to everyone; however it should be mentioned, due to the topic, real pictures and videos will be used.  So attendees should be aware of the use of explicit language and images.
