Body Found in Central Point

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a death.  On Sunday, February 8, 2015 at 2:18 pm., the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office was notified a body was found floating in an irrigation ditch on private property near Table Rock Road and Bella Vista Road in Central Point.

The body has been identified as Matthew Huff, 40, of Central Point.  Next of kin have been notified.  Cause of death is still under investigation. The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy later this week. 

The case remains under investigation.
