WHITE CITY, Ore. -- Deputies are looking for a White City man who broke into a home earlier this week and pointed a gun at a woman. On the afternoon of January 31, 2018, dispatch received a 911 call reporting a menacing with a weapon in the 2600-block of Falcon Street. Devon James Wright, 23, reportedly went to the home unannounced to collect a debt from a man. Witnesses said Wright fled in a small SUV similar to a black Honda CRV before deputies arrived on scene.

Deputies have focused on the White City area this week in an effort to find Wright. On Friday, February 2, 2018, deputies served a search warrant at Wright's home in the 8000-block of Hale Way. Wright was not home, but deputies located a stolen Chevrolet pickup hidden in the garage. The vehicle's owner has been notified.

Wright has a felony warrant for his arrest for a parole violation. He was released from prison in 2017 after completing a sentence for crimes associated with a 2014 drive-by shooting in White City.

Wright has claimed affiliation with white supremacist gangs. He is five feet, nine inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. He has blond hair cut short or shaved, and hazel eyes. He has several visible tattoos, including on his face, head, hands and arms. He is known to frequent the White City area and travel on foot, on bicycle, and in stolen vehicles.

Anyone with information about Wright's whereabouts should call dispatch right away at (541) 776-7206. Deputies say citizens should be cautious; Wright is considered armed and dangerous.
