Deputies to "Haunt" DUII Drivers

The Jackson County Sheriff's Office will be conducting DUII saturation patrols for Halloween. Enforcement will be conducted from October 27 through October 31, 2017. The night of October 31st (Tuesday) will be spent partnering with Ashland PD for their annual Halloween celebration.

Deputies will focus patrols on the other nights on rural roadways and back roads throughout Jackson County. We expect the weekend to be a popular time for Halloween parties. Deputies urge party-goers to make plans ahead of time to get home safely.

All drivers are reminded to be vigilant during the weekend and on Halloween night. Children will likely be out walking in neighborhoods later than usual.

Impaired driving can have fatal consequences. If you suspect an impaired driver on the road, contact law enforcement immediately. You could save a life.
