JCSO Public Relations Officer / Wednesday, May 11, 2016 / Categories: News Human Remains Found TRAIL – On May 10, 2016, a forestry worker contracted to the Bureau of Land Management located one human bone while working in a wooded area near the 43-mile marker of Highway 227. Search and rescue teams spent today searching the area for additional evidence. Due to advanced decomposition, it is not possible to identify the decedent at this time. As such, it is unknown whether the remains are related to any known missing person cases. Detectives will be in touch with family members when they have more information.
