Jackson County Sheriff’s Office Investigates Abduction
CENTRAL POINT, ORE. (November 20, 2014) The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a reported abduction. The incident occurred around 11:15 a.m., on Thursday morning near Johns Peak Road, in Central Point. The victim, a woman jogging in the area, received minor injuries during the abduction. She was taken to a wooded area south of Jacksonville and released.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 40’s or 50’s with a thin build and “scruffy” facial hair. He was operating an older, “beat up” gray or faded blue minivan. It is believed the suspect may be homeless and living in the vehicle.
