Sheriff’s Office / Monday, December 28, 2015 / Categories: News Search for Overdue Snowboarders This morning at 5:15 a.m., Jackson County Sheriff’s Office received a call regarding three people who had not returned from snowboarding yesterday. The group went to Mt. Ashland yesterday, Sunday, December 27, 2015, to snowboard at approximately 10:30 a.m. and have not returned. Jackson County Search and Rescue teams and equipment have been mobilized and are actively searching the mountain for the missing snowboarders. Josephine County Search and Rescue is also responding to assist in the search. More information will be send as it is made available to our office.
