TALENT, Ore. -- A Talent man was jailed Friday after Jackson County Sheriff's Office deputies served a search warrant at an auto repair business. Deputies found drugs, stolen property, and people living in unsafe conditions.

On February 2, 2018, deputies searched the property of Brad's Budget Automotive in the 1300-block of South Pacific Highway. Deputies seized drugs and stolen property. Officers from the Phoenix and Talent police departments assisted with the search warrant service.

Bradley Wayne Keever, 46, was arrested on a warrant as well as charges of possession of methamphetamine and first degree theft by receiving. Keever was lodged at the Jackson County Jail.

Several people, including children, were found in subpar living conditions on the property. Deputies located evidence of drug use and sewage leaking from travel trailers used as dwellings. Caseworkers with the Department of Human Services-Child Welfare responded to assess the living conditions of the children. Jackson County Code Enforcement will be investigating reported code violations.
